Designing our individual pieces

Throughout the last few years, we have seen a shift in the desire to support small local companies and craftsmen; for us to know by whom and where our furniture is made. This has inspired us to create a small collection of freestanding furniture that is all available to order through us.

Each of the designs from this collection will be made here at our Sussex workshop, made by the same team and using the same materials we do with our bespoke projects. Freestanding furniture can be moved between homes and rooms; we hope it will be loved and cherished and passed through generations.

Our freestanding cabinetry is constructed from tulip wood for the framework and doors, the doors hung on traditional butt hinges with magnetic catches. Each design is topped with a decorative pelmet. All our cabinets are hand painted throughout  – each design choice considered to create a range of our very favourite pieces which we have made throughout our years as cabinetmakers.

Our collection comes in a small range of colour options with bespoke colours available on request. We look forward to bringing our collection to life over the next year as we are able to create more and more pieces of beautiful furniture for homes within the South East.
