We offer a full interior design service which in addition to designing the cabinetry for the room – offering suggestions of colour schemes for the cabinetry, walls and woodwork, ideas for flooring, light fixtures and fabrics to consider for soft furnishings all which are presented in a mood board encapsulating the style and aesthetic of the space.
Designing a room in your home such as a kitchen or a dressing room can be overwhelming – we noticed our clients were often coming to us for advice outside of the cabinetry we were providing for them. Although cabinetry is our initial skill, interior design is a passion that runs through all of us here at Joseph John. So with this, we decided to offer a full design service to our clients from our West Sussex studio.
We also work closely with interior designers and architects throughout the South East in the creation of bespoke cabinetry for residential and commercial projects.
Interior Design Consultation
Our Design Process
The design service works a little like the cabinetry process: initially we will ask for you to complete an initial questionnaire so we can gather some information about the project. From there we will give you a call to introduce ourselves further and explain a little about us and our company.
If you like the sound of us, we can then book in a design consultation at your home where we can discuss all the exciting parts and get a feel for your interior likes and dislikes. After this we then get to work creating a full interior design package to showcase for your approval at the next design meeting.
Our interior design service fees are £300 per room and include hand drawn sketches and technical drawings of your cabinetry, a mood board offering suggestions of a colour palette for the room, ideas for flooring, soft furnishings, light fixtures and decorative pieces to consider.

Your design meeting takes place at our workshop; it’s a great opportunity to meet the whole of our team, get to know us as a company and our roots and experience exactly where all of our bespoke cabinetry is created.
