Bassoon Library

A bold and beautiful living room filled will bespoke library cabinets painted head to toe in Little Greene’s ‘Bassoon’.​ Cabinetry sits snuggly in the alcoves of the room – lower cabinets below and glazed cabinets above, painted internally in a wonderful mud red.. this room is all about colour and the happiness it brings us. Keeping the cabinets glazed creates the illusion of space and light, and allowed us to bring another element of colour into the design.

Shelving curves around the room – kept open to be creative, filled with books and artwork and wonderful pieces collected and treasured over the years. This room is complete with a window seat – a spot to sit and read and take in the interiors of the space. Brass finishes have been included throughout the design including traditional turn catches on the cabinets which are a charming feature. Our bespoke library cabinets bring both style and function to this cosy Sussex cottage.
