Country Utility Room

Bespoke cabinetry for the prettiest of utility rooms. Soft pink walls and cabinetry, a tumbled marble checked floor and so beautifully curated by our clients. It may be a practical space but we think we’d be pretty happy tucked away in here doing the laundry!

Our shaker style cabinetry was designed with a heritage touch for this Victorian home with a beaded detail to the doors and an Ovlo moulding to the skirting to honour the original features throughout the home. Hand painted in a soft and calming pink named ‘Pudding’ by Coat Paints, the colour matches that of the walls which brings this small space together so well. One wall in this bespoke utility room is home to a row of cupboards, a Butler sink and a tall utility cupboard. Just opposite, and out of view, is a tall double cupboard which integrates washing machines and a tumble dryer – all tucked away behind shaker doors. Aged brass hardware was chosen for the design with traditional turn catches.

We love everything about this bespoke utility room project and feel this project is proof that it doesn’t matter the size of the room, it’s what you do with it that truly counts.
