Regency Terrace Kitchen

A bespoke handmade kitchen, designed and made for this terraced home on one of Worthing’s most picturesque streets. The Regency style of the property laid the foundation for the interior; creating a space with opulence and eclectic touches throughout. The kitchen has been transformed into a room that balances utility with visual elegance. Our shaker cabinets fit neatly into the alcoves of the room – we tucked a lovely big pantry into one of these, complete with big spacious drawers, spice racks on the doors and a piece of stone cut for inside. Farrow & Ball’s ‘Arsenic’ adorns the walls of the kitchen, it’s vivid mint colour bringing brightness to the room set against the deep green-blue of the cabinetry.

The palette of materials within the space is bold and colourful with a hint of moodiness. Touches of brass feature throughout, from the beautiful Perrin & Rowe tap to the worktop of the prep table – left in its raw form to develop an aged patina over time. A quartz worktop runs along the cabinetry and creates a back splash behind the cooker – a pale grey with unstated details, the detail is subtle and fresh and keeps the room feeling light.

The style of this home and its heritage details gave much inspiration for the design of both the interiors and cabinetry in our bespoke handmade kitchen. The original features and the properties history taken into consideration to create a room timeless in design yet still beaming with character and colour and soul.
